OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Ossining Daily Voice accepts signed letters to the editor. Send letters to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We’re relatively new to Ossining (only seven years), and have discovered it’s one of Westchester’s best-kept secrets.
As former teachers, we’re proud of our schools and their many achievements. We moved into a historic house, only to find out Ossining was voted by Westchester magazine as “Best Place for Architecture Admirers.” Our streets and parks are clean and safe (and our water tastes great!).
The Village of Ossining is a great place to live and has benefited from great leadership under Mayor Bill Hanauer.
Bill has been hard at work, every day, to make a difference. His love for our village is keenly felt by his positive contribution to major works, and his attention to detail helps Ossining continue to move forward. Bill Hanauer has the skills to lead us. He has the clarity and the experience to champion positive change by managing the decision-making process with honesty and integrity. Bill has provided direction and a vision. He is a proven leader, while his opponent is untested. Although she has good intentions, her limited leadership skills could result in unfulfilled promises.
We’re writing to encourage you to join us and vote on Sept. 9 to re-elect our mayor, Bill Hanauer.
His record of achievement on behalf of our community is outstanding because he has the ability to make things happen and get things done. Bill is committed to the continued economic growth and revitalization of Ossining. Our village is growing, and the future looks bright. Let’s keep it that way!
We believe in Mayor Bill Hanauer, our friend and neighbor.
Thank you for reading our letter, and we hope to see you at the polls on Sept. 9.
