William L. Koch, 86, Former Ossining Resident, WWII Veteran

YONKERS, N.Y. - William L. Koch, of Yonkers, and formerly of Ossining, died Sunday, Feb. 2. He was 86.

Koch was born April 30, 1927, to William and Theresa Koch. He was a World War II Navy Veteran, who served on the USS Chicago in the Pacific Theater.

Koch is survived by his children, Denise Cassella, Donna Koch, Thomas Koch and William Koch; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Helen Koch; daughter, Patricia Bohrer; sisters, Marie Gibbons and Laura Holscher; and brother, George Koch.

Calling hours are Thursday, Feb. 6 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cortlandt Funeral Home, 97 Broadway, Verplanck, NY 10598. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7 at St. Augustine's Church 381 N. Highland Ave., Ossining, NY 10562. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
