OSSINING, N.Y. - Rose Antonini of Ossining died April 14. She was 85.
Antonini was born Oct. 10, 1927, in Ossining to Robert and Minnie DiPillo DeCuircio. She worked as a secretary for the Briarcliff Building Dept. She volunteered at Rosary Hill as a member of the 3rd Order of the Dominican Sisters working with the terminally ill. She was a eucharist minister at St. Ann’s and also volunteered at Phelps Memorial Hospital and the Ossining Food Pantry.
Antonini is survived by her son, David; daughter, Anna Marie Filomio (Jimmy); brother, Robert DeCuircio (Evelyn); sister, Marie Zakreski; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Luigi; and son, Louis.
Calling hours are Wednesday, April 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Leach & Thomas, Inc. Funeral Home 32 State St. Ossining. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday, April 18 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, burial in St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
