OSSINING, N.Y. – Robert A. Callahan Jr., 70, of Ossining, formerly of Irvington, died Wednesday, Jan. 21.
Born Dec. 7, 1944, in New York City, he was a son of Robert and Mary Callahan.
He served in the U.S. Army as a Green Beret in the Sixth Special Forces Group.
Callahan spent the majority of his career at ABD Sales in Roslyn Heights, serving as executive vice president and equity partner of the company.
Survivors include one son, Brian (Nicole) Callahan; one brother, Charles (Rosa) Callahan; one sister-in-law, Helen Wolk; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predecased by his wife, Frances Karnicki Callahan; and one brother, Thomas Callahan.
A memorial service will be held in the spring.
