Paul A. Gualano, 59, Of Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. – Paul A. Gualano, a resident of Ossining, died Saturday, July 9. He was 59.

He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his undergraduate education and received a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University's School of Social Work. He worked at the Center for Urban Community Services, a nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness, for more than 25 years and was the chief operating officer.

A month before his passing, he attended the ribbon cutting of a supportive housing apartment building that has 107 units, a roof deck and an outdoor patio.

He is survived by his wife Martha; children Paul and Kristin; mother Vivian; brother Glenn; sister Nicki Kahn; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Clifford.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 14 Emwilton Place, Ossining. A Christian funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 25 Eastern Ave., Ossining. Private interment to follow.
