OSSINING, N.Y. – Nino D. Benedetti, 90, of Ossining, died Sunday, June 14.
He was born Sept. 8, 1924, to Massimo and Angela Palma Benedetti of L’Aguila, Abruzzo, Italy.
Benedetti served in the Italian military during World War II.
He and his family immigrated to Ossining in 1966.
He retired as a maintenance engineer from Phelps Memorial Hospital Center.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Benedetti; two daughters, Gina Andress and Gilda Benedetti; two sons, Massimo (Cheryl) Benedetti and Fausto Benedetti; four grandchildren and many brothers and sisters in Italy.
Calling hours will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, at the Leach & Thomas Funeral Home, 32 State St., Ossining.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
