He was born to Frank and Jean Josephine (Carlo) Bruno on Aug. 30, 1957, in Yonkers. He played basketball for Lincoln High School and at Manhattan College. He married Karen DeBique in 1993. He was a parishioner of St. Augustine Episcopal Church in Croton-on-Hudson.
He was the husband to Karen Bruno; father of Josephine and Louie; brother of Jeanie Murphy and brother-in-law to James Murphy II; and uncle to James Murphy III.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 3, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson. A funeral service will be celebrated Tuesday at noon at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 6 Old Post Road N., Croton-on-Hudson. Committal is private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
