OSSINING, N.Y. -- Mary Robinson, formerly of Ossining, died Sunday, Jan. 24. She was 88.
Robinson graduated from Ossining High School, class of 1945 and then the State University at Albany, where she earned her BA in English. She was fluent in French. She was a professor of English and French at SUNY Albany for many years. During the 1950s she worked for the United Nations and lived in Vienna.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard Robinson.
Interment service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan.28 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
