OSSINING, N.Y. – Ossining resident Mary Masullo died Monday, Jan. 18. She was 82.
She was born Aug. 9, 1933, in Tarrytown, to William and Catherine (Crowley) Herlihy. She was employed at Phelps Memorial Hospital for many years.
She is survived by her sons Joseph P. Masullo Jr. (Diane), John (Rocio), daughters Karen Ramuno (Gary), Patricia Withus (Douglas), Maureen Dykstra (Jeffrey); nine grandchildren, Kathryn Palao, Lauren Dykstra, Allison Ramuno, Brendan Masullo, Kevin Withus, Kyle Dykstra, Colleen Withus, Justin Masullo and Aylen Molina; one great-granddaughter, Olivia Palao; and sisters Anne Jones, Eileen Jackson (William) and Kathleen Durante (Tony).
Her husband, Joseph P. Masullo, died Dec. 9, 1987. She also was predeceased by her brother, William Herlihy.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Leach & Thomas Funeral Home, Inc., 32 State St., Ossining.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 25 Eastern Ave., Ossining, with interment St. Augustine's Cemetery.
