OSSINING, N.Y. – Margaret 'Peggy' M. Sarfaty, of Ossining and formerly of Leeds, died on Friday, Jan. 29. She was 85.
Sarfaty was born in the Bronx on Jan. 5, 1931, to William and Loretta (Neyland) Hull, working as a clerk for Metropolitan Life in New York City.
She was predeceased by her husband Alfred and son Thomas.
She is survived by three children, Gerard, Kenneth, and Margaret Behrens; and four grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Dorsey Funeral Home, at 14 Emwilton Place in Ossining.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Feb.3, at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton-On-Hudson.
Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Catskill.
