OSSINING, N.Y. -- Louvenia Jones, a resident of Fishkill and former longtime Ossining resident, died on Nov. 27. She was 87.
Jones a was born in Clarendon County, S.C. on Oct. 10, 1926 and was the daughter of the late John Taylor and Ella Nora (Horton) Bradshaw.
Louvenia is survived by her children Willie Jr. (Mary), Joseph (Tina), Anthony (Willa), Derrick, Rena (Trenton) Hall, Ella Havard, Louvenia (Sam) Gamble, Barbara Jones, Mary (Raymond) Bailey and Sharon (Melvin) Edwards; siblings John, Hampton and Hurvey Bradshaw; Rena Gray; Ella Bradshaw; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Willie Sr.; sons Richard and Wayne and grandson Darren Bailey.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 304 Spring St., Ossining, NY. The Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment Dale Cemetery in Ossining. Dorsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
