OSSINING, N.Y. Laurie A. Sterlacci, a longtime Ossining resident, died Oct. 7 at her home. She was 70.
Sterlacci was born June 30, 1942, in Holyoke, Mass., to Richard and Laurie Collins Scanlon. She retired from I.B.M. after 27 years as a manager in Somers and Armonk. She was a parishioner of St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; three children, Peter (Hisami), Susanne (Stephen) Savard and Tara; two sisters, Kathleen (Richard) Smith and Maureen Scanlon; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery in Astoria, N.Y.
