OSSINING, N.Y. – Joan Reynolds, of Ossining, died Oct. 6 at her home in Ossining. She was 84.
She was born Aug. 13, 1931 in Stamford, Conn., to Willis and Angelina Nobile Springer.
Reynolds became a certified home health aide late in life before retiring in 2008.
She and her husband were longtime members of the Westchester Democratic Committee and served as election inspectors for 32 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, and is survived by her husband William, two sisters, Vivian Brown of Peekskill and Petrina Head of Dover Plains, and by two brothers, Felix and Joseph Springer.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Peekskill chapter of the Salvation Army.
Private services were handled by Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining.
