Ida Picucci, 84, Ossining Resident

OSSINING, N.Y. -- Ossining resident Ida Picucci died Monday, Jan. 11. She was 84.

Picucci was born in Italy, and owned and operated the Country Deli in Millwood for over 35 years. She was a member of the St. Ann's Sodality and Altar Guild.

She is survived by her husband, Umberto; sons John and Mark, grandchildren Christine, John, Mark, Giada and Rachel; brother Leonardo Santucci; and sisters Carmelina McKie, Rita Patrello, Emma Krumeich and Carol LeComte.

Picucci was predeceased by her parents, Anselmo and Christine (DiCicco) Santucci; brothers Enrico, Ercola and Silvio Santucci; and sister Adeline Montana.

Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, at Leach & Thomas Funeral Home, 32 State St., Ossining. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Ann's Church, with interment at St. Augustine's Cemetery.
