OSSINING, N.Y. - Giuseppe Conte of Ossining died Wednesday, Oct. 29. He was 89.
Conte was born April 25, 1925, in Sassinoro, Benevento, Italy.
Conte is survived by his wife, Assunta Conte; daughter, Elisabetta (Mauro) Manicchio; son, Arcangelo (Marisa) Conte; son-in-law, Angelo Palombo; sister, Michelina Durant; brother, Mario (Paolina) Conte; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Maria Conte in Palombo.
Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 31 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Leach & Thomas, Inc., 32 State St., Ossining. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at St. Ann's Church, burial in St. Augustine's Cemetery.
