OSSINING, N.Y. -- Former Ossining resident George D. Sylvestri died on Tuesday, March 10 in Willow Street, Pa. He was 84.
George was born in Ossining on June 22, 1930 and was the son of the late Donato and Jennie (Fasciani) Sylvestri. He was a graduate of Ossining High School, class of 1948.
George was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and a retired engineer with Harley Davidson in York, Pa.
He is survived by his wife Dolores (Skerratt); sons George and Paul; and six grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 14. Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Dorsey Funeral Home, 14 Emwilton Place. Entombment will take place at Ferncliff, Rosewood Mausoleum in Hartsdale.
