DeMarchis was born Dec. 15, 1924, in Yonkers, to George and Ann (Malloy) Whalen. She and her husband Arthur own Westerly Marina in Ossining.
DeMarchis is survived by her husband, Arthur; sons, Arthur (Debra), Dennis (Cathy), Joseph (Kathy), Douglas (Virpi); and nine grandchildren.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St., Ossining. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27 at St. Augustine's Church. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
