Jaenike is survived by her husband, William; her sons, Chris and his wife, Karen, and Eric and his wife, Jennifer; her grandchildren, Max and Mia; her siblings, Susie Pozega and her husband, Mike, and Robert Pecoroni and his wife, Marymargaret; sisters-in-law Ellen Marsh and her husband, Vic, and Marian Hoke and her husband, Robert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jaenike suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for 40 years, taking up contemporary painting and wood sculpting when playing tennis was no longer an option. She was a high honors graduate of Skidmore College's Class of 1963 and Rochester Institute of Technology's School for American Craftsmen Class of 1966.
A Mass of the Resurrection is set for St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, will celebrate her life,
