Dominick Badia, 61, Ossining Native

OSSINING, N.Y. -- Dominick Robert Badia, a lifelong resident of Ossining, died on Nov. 2. He was 61 years old. 

He was born Feb.18, 1954 in Ossining to Frank and Petronilla (Penny) Badia. He was a graduate of Archbishop Stepinac High School. Dominick retired after 31 years with the Westchester County Department of Corrections. He was a 38 year member of the Cataract Hose Company #2. 

Badia is survivd by his father, Frank; his wife Doris; children, Fred, Frank and Penny; sisters Mary Badia, Kim Santucci, and Teresa (Steve) Rinaldi; and nieces and nephews, Modesto, Pasquale, Marissa, Victoria, Michangelo (Mikey) and Giovanni. 

He was predeceased by his mother, Petronilla (Penny) Badia and brother in law, Carmelo Santucci. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church in Ossining. Interment will follow at the St. Augustine's Cemetery in Ossining.
