OSSINING, N.Y. -- Dominic James Caporale, a longtime Ossining resident, died at the age of 79 on Friday, Feb. 20.
Caporale was born in Sykesville, Pa., on Jan. 26, 1936, and was the son of Dominic and Helen (Call) Caporale.
He was a retired employee of General Motors in North Tarrytown and a former parishioner of St. Ann’s Church.
Caporale is survived by three children, Doreene (Tony Futia) Caporale, John (Rosemary) and Scott (Carolann Ciccala); his siblings, Michelina Toscano, Joseph, Vincent (Helen) and Theodore (Irene); and grandchildren Tara and Neena Faucher, Joseph, Geena and Dominic Caporale. He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia, and siblings DeeDee Miller and Mary Campbell.
Visiting hours will be Monday, Feb. 23, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Dorsey Funeral Home, 14 Emwilton Place, Ossining. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church. Interment will follow at St Augustine Cemetery.
