OSSINING, N.Y. - Dolores M. Nibbe, a 51 year resident of Ossining, died Dec. 9. She was 84.
Nibbe was born July 26, 1929, in Hastings-on-Hudson; daughter of Walter and Helena (Boschi) Murphy. She retired from the Maryknoll Fathers, where she worked in correspondence. She also worked for the Readers Digest Association. She was a parishioner of St. Augustine’s Church.
Nibbe is survived by her husband, Henry; children, Lori (Bob Jr.) Lamb, Henry Jr. (Debbie), Thomas (Sonia), Barbara (Tim) Bushell and Jennifer; siblings, Mary Gambino, Raymond and William Murphy; and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Walter, James and Charles Murphy; and sister, Lucille Murphy.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Dorsey. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12 at St. Augustine’s Church. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
