OSSINING, N.Y. – Daranee Ekmahachai, of Ossining, died on Thursday, June 4. She was 68.
Ekmahachai was born on Feb. 3, 1947, in Bangkok, Thailand, to Prayode and Lamdub Angsusingha.
She worked as a prenatal nurse at the Ossining Open Door.
She is survived by her husband Sunya; daughters Sunsaneeya and Suvida; her son Sunya Jr.; brothers Charlermrath, Tanit, Kitti; and her grandchildren, Charlotte and Everett.
She was predeceased by a brother, Parinya and her sister, Yupayong.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday at Dorsey Funeral Home, at 14 Emwilton Place in Ossining.
Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Ossining Open Door.
