Christopher Rubow, 25, of Florida, Formerly Of Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. -- Christopher Charles Rubow, of Gainesville, Fla., formerly of Ossining, N.Y., died Sept. 16. He was 25.

Rubow spent the first 16 years of his life with his family in Ossining. He began his college career at 16, graduating from Binghamton University with his bachelor's in psychology; Vanderbilt University with his master's in special education; and will posthumously receive his doctorate in psychology, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis, from the University of Florida. 

His first research paper has been accepted for publication in a premier journal. 

Rubow loved family get togethers, was a talented musician, a lover of nature and children, and had a giving, gentle soul. 

Survivors include his mother, Emily Rubow and father, Roger Rubow; brothers, Victor and Spencer Rubow; three grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and friends and colleagues. 

A memorial gathering will take place Saturday, Oct. 1, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., with a Mass at 10:45 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, Ossining, N.Y.
