OSSINING, N.Y. - Caroline Gerstenkorn, a resident of Ossining and formerly of Valhalla, died Sunday, Oct. 6. She was 77.
Gerstenkorn was born in the Bronx in 1935; daughter of Charles and Margaret Eckhoff. She was a former Rosarian of the Holy Name of Jesus, a communicant at St. Augustine's Church and a member of the Golden Eagles.
Gerstenkorn is survived by her children, Linda (John) Behan and Scott (Elaine); and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Oswald.
Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 10 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Dorsey. A Mass will be celebrated at 12 p.m. at St. Augustine's Church. Interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
