QUEENSBURY, N.Y. - Barney Di Domizio of Queensbury, formerly of Ossining, died Nov. 9. He was 87.
Di Domizio was born Aug. 19, 1927, in Ossining, to Bernardino and Rosina (DiSilvio) Di Domizio. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a pipefitter for the New York Codes, Rules and Regulations in Croton-Harmon and later for IBM in security.
Di Domizio is survived by his wife, Betty; sons, Stephen (Danielle), and Robert (Maureen); daughter, Rosemary Sherman (Dan); son-in-law, Vincent Palmiotto; brother, (Freddy); and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Joanne Palmiotto.
Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 14 from 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Leach & Thomas, Inc., 32 State St., Ossining. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at St. Ann's Church, 25 Eastern Ave., Ossining. Burial in St. Augustine's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ann's Church.
