OSSINING, N.Y. - Barbara DiRito of Ossining died Jan. 25. She was 74.
DiRito was born Sept. 20, 1939, in Ossining, to Peter and Irene Callahan Florian. She worked for Chemical/Chase Bank for many years. She was a member of the Columbus Lodge #695.
DiRito is survived by her son, Paul (Jesse) of Ossining; daughter, Marlene Maccarrone (Joe) of Mohegan Lake; five grandchildren; and brother, Peter Florian. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Jan. 28 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St., Ossining. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29 at St. Ann's Church, burial at St. Augustine's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's.
