OSSINING, N.Y. - Antonio (Tony) Manicchio of Ossining died Nov. 13. He was 68.
Manicchio was born June 13, 1946, to Angelo and Rosa (Sticca) Manicchio in Castelmauro, Italy. He was a Vietnam War veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He was also the co-owner of Manicchio Bros. Service Station in Ossining for many years. He was a member of the Columbus Lodge 692 Order of the Sons of Italy in America.
Manicchio is survived by his wife, Tracy; daughters, Lisa and Kristy; sisters, Giula Dimascia, Filomena DiSisto (Luigi), Maria Manicchio, Anna Robinson; brothers, Giovanni and Mauro (Elizabeth) Manicchio; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Nicola and Francesco Manicchio.
Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 15 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St., Ossining. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at St. Ann’s Church, burial at St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
