OSSINING, N.Y. -- Ossining native Anne Volpe died in Naples, Fla. on Saturday, Nov. 8. She was 90-years-old.
Volpe moved to North Canton, Ohio with her husband, William.
The two shared a love for dancing and opened two Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Ohio in Akron and Canton.
Volpe spent the last 27 years of her life in Naples and continued to teach dance well into her 80s.
She is survived by her three sons and their spouses; Richard Volpe (Phyllis), Robert Volpe (Jane), Thomas Volpe (Carol); along with her two grandchildren and their spouses Kathaleen McClary (Michael McClary) and Kristopher Volpe (Goshen Trout) and her three great-grandchildren Haven Volpe, Declan McClary and Teaghan McClary.
