Angelina Maratzo, 88, Longtime Ossining Resident

OSSINING, N.Y. - Angelina Maratzo, a longtime resident of Ossining, died Monday, March 11. She was 88.

Maratzo was born in San Lucio, Caserta, Italy, on Oct. 2, 1924; daughter of Pasquale and Philomena Cristello. She worked at St. Augustine's Rectory and Victoria Home as a cook, and at General Electric in housekeeping. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Ossining Hose #1; The Legion of Mary, and the Alter Guild at St. Augustine's Church.

Maratzo is survived by daughters, Phyllis (Joe) Taxiera, Ronnie (Ron) Dube and Patricia Michalko; one brother, two sisters; five grandsons and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Augie; daughter, Nancy, a brother and a sister.

The Dorsey Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Thursday 10 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church. Interment to follow at St. Augustine's Cemetery.
