The website is called “Village of Ossining – Become Part of the Conversation,” and allows residents to not only talk with each other, but also communicate with local government decision makers.
“We set a goal for 2015 to engage the public on what Ossining wants to see happen at the heart of our downtown,” Mayor Victoria Gearity said in a press release.
“My colleagues and I on the Board of Trustees are excited that this new online platform enables us to hear from the community in a quantitative way. We'll be working hard to encourage residents to be part of the conversation.
“This input will impact our decision about the future of Market Square – the key to growing our vibrant local economy.”
