Vendor space is all sold out for this Saturday's Village Fair in Ossining.
The 31st annual Village Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Ossining, with food, shopping, music, entertainment and children's activities. This year there will be four stages with five disc jockeys.
"We are at capacity with 154 vendors and are currently starting a waiting list," said Gayle Marchica, president of the Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce, which is organizing the event.
Live entertainment will include demonstrations by UMAC Martial Arts and performances by the Logrea Dance Academy, Claremont School Chorus, Brieant Center Youth Ensemble and Ossining High School's Gimme the Mic. There will also be professional live music ranging from smooth jazz to rock played by Franklin Jackson Jr., Left in the Attic, Dead Weight Burden, Sanskrit Jazz, the Dennis Winge Trio and Elvis specialist Pat Perone.
The opening ceremony for the fair will take place at the Market Square stage at 10 a.m. It will feature the Elks Club's flag ceremony and the national anthem sung by Ossining singer Mykaela Copeland.
Kids' activities will include rides, a balloon artist and a magic show, and at 1 p.m. there will be a karaoke contest at the Main Street stage.
