The Week Ahead in Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. – An Ossining Village Board of Trustees work session, an Ossining School District informal dialogue session and a Ossining Town Board meeting are planned for this week. There is also a Briarcliff School District work session on Monday night. Here are the details:

Monday- 6:00 p.m., the Briarcliff Manor Union Free School District work session in the Middle School theatre, 444 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor. Items discussed include a presentation on “Teaching Assistants Model” to begin around 7 p.m., a presentation on the athletic department’s finances and various work session items and updates. The agenda can be viewed on the school district’s website. 

Tuesday- 7:30 p.m., Ossining Village Board work session, 16 Croton Ave., Ossining. Items to be discussed include a grant application for sculptures featured in this year’s bicentennial celebration, Harbor Square development and various financial issues. Agenda available on the village’s website. - 7:30 p.m., Ossining Town Board meeting, 86-88 Spring St., Ossining. Items include tax law discussions with V & B Realty, Country Meadow Associates, Urstadt Biddle Properties and Yellow Brick Road Apartments. Agenda available on the town’s website.

Wednesday- 7:15 p.m., Ossining school board trustee informal bond dialogue at the Ossining Public Library’s Café, 53 Croton Ave., Ossining. Board members say the informal dialogue meeting can cover any issue with which parents or residents have concerns. More information can be found at the district’s website.
