Teens Arrested for Allegedly Robbing Ossining Man

Two male teenagers from Ossining and Yonkers were reportedly arrested yesterday, along with another juvenile, for allegedly robbing a man of his cell phone on Main Street at around 1:15 a.m.

According to police, Rainey Davente, 19, of Snowden Avenue in Ossining, Terry Duncan, 16, of Broadway in Yonkers, and a juvenile whose name was withheld, followed Ossining resident Victor Gonzalo Pulla-Zhinin, who was walking home from the Karma Lounge.

Pulla-Zhinin told police that when he noticed the three males following him, he stopped on Church Street to pretend to use a payphone in order to observe the three males.

After stopping, Pulla-Zhinin told police that two of the three males grabbed him, placed him against a wall and told him to give them what he had in his pockets. One of the robbers allegedly took a gray Sanyo Boost mobile cell phone from the victim.

At that time, Police Officer Anthony Oliveira was spotted walking on the street, and one of the suspected robbers yelled, "The cops are coming."

Oliveira said he saw one of the youth males throw the cell phone into some bushes and he was flagged down by Pulla-Zhinin, who was on the ground.

Police reports say that with the help of Sgt. Paul Schemmer, all three youth were caught and arrested.
