Teatown Lake Reservation offers environmental mini camps for children ages 4-12 years during school break weeks. The camps are run by the group's environmental educators who help foster young people's innate curiosity and enthusiasm about flora and fauna through a mix of outdoor explorations and age appropriate activities, games and crafts.
The next camp is scheduled for the March school break that runs from March 21-25.
During this camp, the kids will be outdoors exploring for slugs, bugs and other critters as they are waking from their slumber. They'll also play games, make crafts and see what spring has to offer.
Full-day campers should pack a lunch. Snack is provided.
