State Police Arrest Woman Over Prison Contraband At Sing Sing In Ossining

HAWTHORNE, N.Y. -- New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested a Long Island City woman and charged her with promoting prison contraband in the second-degree, police officials said.

Charlene Bostic, 45, was accused of entering Sing Sing Prison in possession of prohibited items, according to State Police. 

Bostic is due to appear in Ossining Village Court on Thursday, Feb. 20, police said.
