Rides Ready For St. Ann's Festival In Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. — Gary Reginald and Daniel McDowell of the amusement company 21st Century Shows fixed a kiddie car ride on Tuesday morning in preparation for the opening of St. Ann’s Festival.

The festival will be open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. There will be games, rides, food, entertainment, a casino and a flea market.

“It’s a fundraiser for us and it brings all members of our parish together. We have food from all our different communities – Portuguese, Spanish, Philippino and Italian plus hamburgers and hotdogs,” said St. Ann’s parish secretary Edna Ault.

Apart from the rides, the festival is run entirely by parish volunteers, Ault said.
