OSSINING, N.Y. Gary Reginald and Daniel McDowell of the amusement company 21st Century Shows fixed a kiddie car ride on Tuesday morning in preparation for the opening of St. Anns Festival.
The festival will be open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. There will be games, rides, food, entertainment, a casino and a flea market.
Its a fundraiser for us and it brings all members of our parish together. We have food from all our different communities Portuguese, Spanish, Philippino and Italian plus hamburgers and hotdogs, said St. Anns parish secretary Edna Ault.
Apart from the rides, the festival is run entirely by parish volunteers, Ault said.
