Pedestrian Struck On Highland Avenue In Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. -- A 47-year-old Ossining woman crossing South Highland Avenue, at the intersection of Everett Avenue. was struck by a car Nov. 25, reported Patch.com.

Police said the woman appeared to suffer a "possible head injury" with possible other unknown injuries, the story said.

Police said the car, driven southbound by a 77-year-old Ossining woman, struck the woman going from the east to the west side of the road on the right side of her body, possibly her leg, which caused her to fall to the ground and hit her head on the pavement, the story said.

The woman was taken to Westchester County Medical Center by Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps, the story said.
