Ossining Residents Earn Bachelor's and Honors

OSSINING, N.Y. -- The following Ossining residents recently earned Bachelor's degrees and/or received honors:

Peter Cole earned a B.A. in art from SUNY Oneonta. The college's commencement ceremony was held on Saturday, May 21. Cole earned a perfect grade point average of 4.0 during the spring 2011 semester and was named to the college's Provost's List. Of the more than 5,800 undergraduates enrolled at the college, 125 qualified for the spring 2011 Provost's List.

Samantha Chester received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, at the University of New Haven.

Kevin Kolisz received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, at the University of New Haven.

William Buerger, of Scarborough, graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Gettysburg College on May 22, 2011. He was also placed on the dean's list. Buerger majored in Psychology.

Ashley Raniolo, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor Of Science In Accounting, at Sacred Heart University.

Julia Glassman, a Sophomore, and Meghan Murnane, a Junior, at Gettysburg College, both made the deans list, earning an average of a 3.33 or higher.

Nicholas Dorkin, a junior history major, has been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2011 semester in the College of Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences at Rider University.

Victoria W. Corke graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Clark University.

Janna Gullery graduated with a Master of Arts in Community Development and Planning, from Clark University.

Alyssa R. Gioio was recognized for academic excellence by being named to the Dean's List at The University of Scranton for the spring 2011 semester.
