OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Ossining Public Library Board of Trustees has scheduled its budget vote and trustee election.
It will be held on Tuesday, May 17, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Ossining High School Gymnasium.
This year, three seats become available on the Board of Trustees. The term for these seats is three years beginning July 1 and expiring June 30, 2019.
Petition packets for Board of Trustee candidates are now available. Interested candidates may obtain a petition packet from the Director of the Library, Business Office, 53 Croton Ave., Monday and Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.; Tuesday and Friday, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.; Wednesday between 1 and 9:00 p.m; Saturday between 9 a.m and 5 p.m.; and Sunday between 1 and 5 p.m.
If the Business Office is closed, please ask at the Adult Reference Desk on the second floor.
