Ossining Police Release Traffic Plans For Memorial Day Parade

OSSINING, N.Y. – The Ossining Police Department has released the parade route and overall traffic plans for Monday's Memorial Day parade.

The parade is scheduled to start about 9:30 a.m., and the route will start on Croton Avenue near Calam Avenue, down Croton Avenue, across South Highland Avenue to Main Street, then down Spring Street to Washington Avenue and then conclude with a ceremony in Nelson Park.

Along with the Police Department, other local community groups will attend. The list includes American Legion Post 506, Parker Bale Post 1597, the Ossining Fire Department, Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps, the Girl and Boy Scouts, and others.

There will be various closures and delays, and the department suggests using Route 9A if you must cross the parade route while traveling on Monday.
