OSSINING, N.Y. - A 20-year-old Yonkers man has been arrested and charged with second-degree burglary after Village of Ossining Police say they found him inside an Ossining home Tuesday morning.
Timothy Bryant, was reportedly discovered in an upstairs bedroom on 43 N. Malcolm St. in Ossining lying on the floor under a sheet, according to Ossining Police. An Ossining resident reported seeing someone climb through a window of the house about 8 a.m., Tuesday, according to a news release. Police say they arrived on scene shortly after the call and found Bryant under a sheet. The home is listed for sale.
Bryant was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary, a class C felony, according to the release. Bryant will await an arraignment hearing in Ossining Town Court.
Police say residents have reported several burglaries in Ossining this month. A resident on Pine Avenue said she saw a man about 40-years-old break into her home earlier this month.
Ossining Police were not immediately available to provide further information.
