OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a "Candidates Night" on Thursday, Oct. 24.
The forum will include several candidates running in this year's election at 7 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Joseph G. Caputo Community Center on 95 Broadway in Ossining, according to a press release. The theme of the forum is "Business in the Ossining Community" and will include a question and answer session from a moderator but the event is not a debate, according to the release.
"Candidates will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the Ossining community and give a brief statement of qualities and qualifications that would make them the best candidate for the office," representatives said in the release.
Candidates scheduled to attend include Town of Ossining Highway Dept. Gerry Lent & Michael O'Connor; Ossining Town Council candidates Kim Jeffrey, Glen Oldhoff and Northern Wilcher; Westchester County Legislator candidates Catherine Borgia and Peter Tripodi; and Village of Ossining Candidates Robert Daraio and Emanuel Quezada, according to the release.
The chamber encourages the participation of residents and business owners by submitting questions to be addressed during the Forum by Oct. 21 to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
