Mobile Passport Unit Comes To Briarcliff Tops Village Manager's Report

BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. -- The Westchester County Mobile Passport Unit will be in front of Village Hall Monday, 9 May, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., according to Village Manager Philip E. Zegarelli's latest report.

The new Comfort and Hydro Pneumatic Pump Station will formally open Saturday, May 7 at noon at the Club Field. The Mayor and members of the BOT will be present. Al fields and play areas are ope.

Final approvals from final WCDOH are in for the Community Center dedication on Memorial Day. The dedication and open house will follow the American Legion, Briarcliff Manor Fire Department Memorial Day ceremonies Monday May 30.

Law Park/Pavilion Fire Update:

Pool/pool deck facilities restoration is complete, with the pool set to open Memorial Day. Vendors for food wagons during pool hours have been selected. 

Water Department:

Unpaid and outstanding water bills that were due before May 1 are transferred to June VB M Real Estate bill, along with fees and penalties on May 11.

The VBM will also impose a transfer fee of $50. Residents are asked to bring accounts up to date. Call (914) 944-2787 with questions.

Library/Community Center:

A Drop-In Technology Time for questions about tablets, smartphones, laptop, other technology issue is offered Fridays to June 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. A high school volunteer will be available for a 60-minute session.

Water Department: Hydrant flushing runs Monday, May 2 to Friday, May 6. Residents can expect discolored water at any time (but particularly) during the day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
