The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. in Mercy College's Victory Hall, 2nd Floor Cafe. There is parking adjacent to Victory Hall (which is not the main entrance to the campus but the entrance just before the main entrance, as you travel north on Broadway in Dobbs Ferry)

The choir is open to the entire Mercy College Community (students, families, faculty and staff) and community singers from the New York metropolitan area.

No audition is required but commitment to regular rehearsal attendance is expected. Rehearsals are from 6:30-9 p.m. Thursday with consideration given to community singers who must travel to rehearsals directly from work.

A culmination concert is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 17 on the Mercy College campus.

Registration and vocal section placement will take place before vocal technique and choir rehearsal commences.

The concert repertory will be seasonal and include jazz, R&B, gospel and traditional arrangements of original and traditional seasonal music. There may be opportunities for individual singers to offer appropriate music to sing in a solo context. These will be selected by audition in November.
