Lowey is set to speak about the new center at noon at Ossining Town Hall, 16 Croton Ave. The center is set to assist homeowners and business owners affected by Superstorm Sandy in applying for "recovery aid for issues such as home repairs, elevations, and buyouts, mitigation assistance and small business assistance," according to a press release from Lowey's office.
Lowey is set to be joined by Ossining Town Supervisor Susanne Donnelly, Village Mayor William Hanauer and Tom Morley of the New York State Small Business Development Center.
Lowey will then travel to the Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor, where she will speak with hospital employees and tour the hospital’s recently opened Comprehensive Cancer Center at 1 p.m.
