Girl Scouts Visit Cedar Rapids Nursing Center In Ossining

OSSINING, N.Y. -- Girl Scout Troop 1196 visited Cedar Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation residents earlier this month. 

Scouts Celine Illioiu and Alexandra Barkan initiated an intergenerational social program on Feb. 11, Cedar Manor said in a release.

"The troupe came and worked with the residents by making homemade Valentines, letters, cards, and decorations for every senior resident in Cedar Manor," representatives said. "After the program was over they then went unit to unit, singing for all of those residents unable to attend the event. These young ladies were so wonderful, and mature. Everyone at Cedar Manor thanks you."
