Yorktown Police issued an alert Sunday morning that Gomer Street was closed in the area north of Thomas Jefferson Elementary School (3636 Gomer St.) due to a primary power line that was down in the roadway and still with power.
Officers were on scene along with members of the Lake Mohegan Fire District, police said.
Con Edison was notified and responded.
