OSSINING, N.Y. - Beverly Piazza of Ossining died at her home on Jan. 11. She was 81.
She was born on Dec. 23, 1930 in Queens, N.Y. to James Robert Bulger and Gladys Coffin. Piazza graduated from Ossining High School in 1948, where she served as a class officer. On Oct. 22, 1950, she married Paul Piazza. A devoted member of First Baptist Church in Ossining, Piazza was a Sunday school teacher, deacon and church historian.
She is survived by her husband Paul "Moose" Piazza of Ossining, her son Paul (Suzette) Piazza of Connecticut, her daughter Christina Piazza of Ossining, her son-in-law Michael Lastowski and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughters Jody Lastowski and Beverly Piazza-Hudson.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday at Leach & Thomas Funeral Home in Ossining. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Gordon Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
