OSSINING, N.Y. - Janice Canonico died suddenly on Nov. 28 at her home in Ossining from complications with diabetes. She was 53.
She was born Sep. 22, 1958 in New Rochelle to Frank and Rose Canonico. Formerly of Mamaroneck, Ms. Canonico enjoyed a 25-year career at Amscan and appreciated the support of her coworkers.
Ms. Canonico was considered "the life of the party" at family get-togethers and she would always with a funny story to tell. She was a fan of Rod Stewart and was devoted to her dogs Hailey, Brody and Maggie May.
She is survived by her mother Rose Canonico, her brothers Frank (Meg) Canonico and Anthony (Carol) Canonico and several nieces.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home in Mamaroneck. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Gregory the Great Church, followed by interment at Greenwood Union.
