SCARSDALE, N.Y. - Southbound Metro-North trains on the Harlem Line are back on schedule after a person was struck by a train in Scarsdale early on Tuesday morning.

Shortly after 4:30 a.m., a person was struck by a non-service train at the Scarsdale Metro-North train station, prompting 10-15 minutes delays that lasted several hours. According to Metro-North officials, southbound trains were running operationally near their normal schedule by 7:30 a.m.

The victim was transported to the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla for treatment. His condition was not immediately available.

The investigation into Tuesday’s incident in Scarsdale is ongoing.
